For divers wanting to bring their underwater adventures to the next level, enriched air nitrox (EANx) has plenty of benefits. One of the biggest reasons that divers use EANx is because it can extend bottom time.

Before you use EANx, you’ll want to learn about how the body reacts to breathing varying oxygen levels under different depths of water. The PADI Enriched Air Diver course can teach you everything you need to know.

The Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba diving course.  Here’s a sample of what you’ll learn:

  • Techniques for getting more dive time by using EANx
  • Enriched air scuba diving equipment considerations
  • Enriched air considerations, including managing oxygen exposure, how to tell what’s in your scuba tank and how to set your dive computer
